An environment variable exposure vulnerability has been reportedly found in Crabbox versions prior to 0.12.0, potentially allowing attackers to access local secrets.

What happened

Crabbox prior to version 0.12.0 appears to contain a vulnerability that exposes environment variables, which could allow attackers with access to a malicious or compromised repository to forward local secrets such as API tokens, cloud credentials, and broker tokens into the remote command environment.
